This CD-ROM contains 756 high quality images of 89 different species and subspecies of the genus Echinocereus. Only valid names, as provided in the monograph "Echinocereus" by BLUM, LANGE, RISCHER & RUTOW and later first descriptions are used.
The pictures are exclusively from cultivated plants raised from documented seed. As is the case in our Internet Magazine, images for each taxon include the bud, plant in flower, the flower as a whole and in cross-section and in some case also the fruit.
